Building for Tomorrow: Pre-Orientation Program

This 3-day community service program is for in-coming, first-year students. Each day, the students participate in various volunteer service opportunities: Clearing Nolde Forest State Park, Working with children at the local YMCA and assisting at a Habitat for Humanity site. Each evening, the student participate in team-building and leadership exercises.

All of the students that participate in the program are scheduled for the same first-year seminar in the Fall. They receive 2 credits for the service-learning portion and 1 credit for the FYs course work.
