1.
Also
called vita,
vitae. a
brief biographical
résumé of one's career
and training, as
prepared by a person
applying for a job.
2.
(italics)
Latin.
the course of one's
life or career.
Today's world demands
more information and
it expects greater access
to it. That said,
this site is designed to
go well beyond a résumé.
In fact, it is intended to surpass
traditional curriculum
vitae.
The
digital world has ended
the days of using a
paper résumé or vitae,
yet we still provide the
same old documents delivered
as an attachment. That
manner of course hardly
embraces the
possibilities of
representing oneself
within this new world.
The
Internet possesses an
immense potential for
professional
representation and
newer, exciting levels
of interaction. With
this site, I am trying
to utilize all the
Internet has to offer.
We
all have stories to
tell. Stories of the
places we've been, the
things we've
accomplished, and the
lives we've touched.
This
Web site is my story.
